Sacred Sites Open House May 17-18 Highlights Diversity

FPCN will hold an Open House on the weekend of May 17 and 18 as part of the New York Landmarks Conservancy's Sacred Sites Open House Weekend.

From 10 AM to 3 PM on Sat. May 17 and from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Sun. May 18, FPCN will open its doors to the community. All are invited to come inside and learn more about our history and ministry.

Talks on the history and architecture of the church will be given on Sat. May 17 at 11 AM and 2 PM, each followed by a short walking tour.

We were recently added to the National Register of Historic Places, the official list of the nation's historic places worthy of preservation.Unveiling of the National Register for Historic Places Plaque will begin at 12:30pm on Sunday, followed by a display, talk on history and architecture, and a short walking tour.

The theme of the 2014 Open House Weekend is Sacred Sites and the Community: How Immigration and Migration Shape New York. As part of this weekend, FPCN will hold its annual International Night celebration on Saturday evening.
