June Church Garden Update
Talk a walk through our church garden and be amazed. The stragglers have survived, much to our dismay - nature's way of letting us know who is in control! The kale, calaloo, mustard greens, and collards have all puled through, the cucumbers are still wavering, but the squash are off to a good start. Cabbage and lettuce are forming heads, and the raspberries and strawberries are ripening. Their sweetness (never mind their size) will supply all the sugar you need in your diet!
In addition to mint, chives, and sage, our garden now has dill, rosemary, and lemon balm ready. Coming soon: basil, thyme, parsley, and lemon grass.
Please remember that we accept all donations for the garden. Send them to the church office.
